The founder of OIVAC (Online International VA Conference), Sharon Williams created IVAD (International Virtual Assistants Day), which has been 'celebrating' for the past 5 years by hosting a global online event each year. For 2012 the event will be running from 17th-19th May, during which time there are many training and marketing opportunities. However, the 'Official VA Day' will be 18th May 2012.
Sharon's vision was through the elimination of geographic boundaries Virtual Assistants could participate in unifying and educational activities.
